Jim G, Summers County 4-H All Stars

Spent the week with 4-H camp. Facilities much improved and cabins are very clean. Pool and grounds also well kept. Even the dining hall is better with more lights and cleaner floor.

SC 4-H Camp is quite an outstanding place, as is the camp, that this year started on June 12. There are many useful facilities, 6 cabins, a dining hall, along with recreational areas, everything has been very well kept up with. We owe our entire experience of 4-H Camp to the counselors, Sandy, and Lindsay, for without these people there would be no camp for us to enjoy so very much every summer. I look forward to this every year, it is my favorite part of summer, because you spend time with people you don't normally get to, and people you barely even talk to. It is an unforgettable experience. Along with all of these wonderful commodities, like showers, swimming pool, etc. my favorite part of camp, is that the fence is lined at the top with barbed wire, haha. But aside of this, it is a beautiful place. It really is....

This past week has been amazing, and Camp Summers helped it happen. Camp Summers has a pool, volleyball court, 2 basketball courts, a place to play 4 square, Gaga ball, and even a horseshoe pit. These features are all recreational things that everyone loves to do. There are 6 cabins that can hold a ton of beds in each. The mattresses in each are only just a year old! The dining hall is a very clean area, with the cabin feel, which is throughout the whole camp. The staff are all very friendly. The river behind it, is beautiful. If you are looking for a place to hold any kind of social gathering, this is the place to do it. You must see it for yourself to believe it. The camp director, Sandy Turner, is very flexible and is a great person to talk to about the camp. She will work with you and help you as much as she possibly can. This camp also has a horsebarn, and a council circle built so your group can gather around a fire. Its a great place to be and stay.

SimmonsFamily R, Simmons Family Reunion

What a great experience we had for for our family reunion at Camp Summers - the facilities were beautiful and well taken care of and the staff were extremely helpful! This is a great location for a reunion because of the size of the fields, pool, dining hall and bathroom! We had a wonderful day and want to say many thanks to Camp Summers for allowing us to host our event at their location!
